PRAYERS TO OVERCOME THE STRONGMAN OF YOUR LIFE AND FAMILY
The strong man (strongman) represents the agents of darkness who will not allow peace and joy to reign in the life of a believer. He is like the ruling spirit commanding a group of evil spirits. He stands as the power source energizing the activities of the evil spirits. There is a demonic strongman behind all challenges people are facing. Our Lord Jesus Christ made a reference to this name in Matthew 12 : 29 and Mark 3 : 27 as follows:
” Or how can a person go into a strong man’s house and carry off his goods (the entire equipment of his house) without first binding the strong man? Then indeed he may plunder his house.” (Matthew 12:29)– AMP.
” But no man can go into a strong man’s house and ransack his household goods right and left and seize them as plunder unless he first binds the strong man; then indeed he may (thoroughly) plunder his house.” (Mark 3 : 27) – AMP
In Isaiah 49 :24-25, the Lord assured us His children that there is hope for those that are in any form of captivity, affliction or bondage. This scripture states, ” Shall the prey(plunder) be taken from the mighty or the lawful captives of the just be delivered? For thus says the Lord: Even the captives of the mighty will be taken away, and the prey of the terrible will be delivered; for I will contend with him who contends with you, and I will give safety to your children and ease them.” Let us pray.
PRAYER POINTS
1. We come against every strongman perpetrating evil against our health, marriage, family, career, business and finances, in the name of Jesus.
2. Let the finger of God demolish and annihilate all obstacles, roadblocks and barriers placed in our pathways.
3. I call down the consuming fire of God upon all the demonic spirits of idolatry, jealousy, envy, antichrist, carnality, greed, infirmity and household wickedness, in Jesus mighty name.
4. O God our Father, let all financial famine, financial scarcity, financial embarrassment, financial insecurity and financial losses experienced in people’s lives as a result of strongmen’s activities, perish at the presence of the Lord.
5. You strongmen operating in all departments of people’s lives, we bind you and recover our goods from your hands in Jesus mighty name.
6. Any hidden, known and unknown covenant with any strongman, break, break now in Jesus name.
7. We release the glory, the favor and supernatural breakthrough from God upon your lives now. Amen.
